So far being “homeless” hasn’t felt any different. We are spending time with our families for Thanksgiving before we really hit the road, so it doesn’t feel real. The fact that we won’t be returning to our rental house hasn’t sunk in quite yet.
This has been the easiest move ever. Having your new house parked right next to your old one is really convenient. Our final moving day was a breeze! We are storing some furniture for the time being, but not much. We were able to pull a little trailer with the jeep and get everything moved in one trip. Now that everything is finally in the RV I can organize, organize, and re-organize to try and get everything put away where it won’t fall over, spill, or explode while we’re driving.
The pups seem to be adjusting just fine! Ella was a little freaked out when things started disappearing from the house, but she seems to be doing much better! They have loved being by our side all day. They are also very excited to start our adventure and go someplace really warm!
I am also VERY excited because Oakley and Ella are going to be sharing their adventures with some 1st grade pen pals! They would love to connect with more little ones! Check out the Paw Pals page for more info.
So lets get this show on the road and start exploring!

I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
