We were so fortunate to have been able to spend time with some of our family. They are staying on an Army base so it was a great experience living on base for a week at their campground. Gerrit’s brother is working to become a helicopter pilot so it was awesome to hear about all he has accomplished and everything he will get to do as he continues to train. Our sister in law is a rock star! I don’t know how she handles three little boys, keeps the house standing, all while she is out of her comfort zone, not only living in a new state, but on base. She’s nothing short of amazing! She also is distributor for Younique! Check it out here!
Of course it was AWESOME spending time with our favorite little nephews. They are so much fun and full of energy! Forrest and Walker got to take turns spending the night in the RV with us, it was a blast! On of my favorite childhood memories was having sleep overs at my aunt’s house, so it was so cool to be able to do the same with our nephews.
We had a couple cook outs, explored a cave, took a boat ride and fished, and then finally went to the beach for a day. While the adults did get burnt to a crisp we got to toss the boys around in the waves and had a blast!
We sure are going to miss them but are thankful that we spent a whole week with them which was only possible because we live in an RV! RV life rocks!
