Sun Valley was a cute ski town near the Sawtooth mountain range in Idaho. Steve and Tess met us there and we were neighbors for a few days.
While we were there we mountain biked at the ski resort. It was so cool to ride the ski lift up to the trail, just to ride down it and do it over again! It was like none of the work, but all of the reward.
Unfortunately, they closed the lift after a short rain storm (it was lame) and we didn’t get all the runs in that we would have liked. But it was still great fun and I can’t wait to go riding at another ski resort soon!
Gerrit and I had intended to check out a little ghost town, but the jeep had other plans. We ended up with a HUGE rock stuck in our tire. We were able to get to a repair tire place no problem, but now Gerrit has to decide if we should get all new tires or just try to replace one.
Gerrit’s parents flew in from Indiana to spend a week with us in Idaho. They rented a car and met us at our boondocking spot in Sun Valley. We were so excited to spend time with them and share our lifestyle with them for just a little while. Stay tuned for The Ranch post! It was a great week!

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
